Retailer Recommendation Program

Retail Recommendation Audit

The retail recommendation program can be defined as the retailer recommending to the customer regarding their products or services by which customer tends to buy the product. It has been observed that the actual buyer is open to recommending while he goes to purchase a product in the market. The product recommended by the retailer is more likely to be chosen than others.

Example:-

A customer visits an electronic store to buy a T.V but he gets confused about what brand he should buy , so he asks the shopkeeper to tell all the features of various brand’s T.V. available .
The shopkeeper recommends him to buy T.V. of a particular brand .
The reason why the shopkeeper recommended the customer with T.V. of a particular brand is that all these brands give the shopkeepers various offers , discounts , promotions , and gifts in order to make them recommend their brand to the customers .
This whole process is called Retailer Recommendation.

How It Works?

Retailer Recommendation program is implemented to check if the retailer is recommending the product or services of a particular to the customers. This will also give insights about how the retailer approaches and sells the product in the market. It has been observed that the actual buyer is open to recommendations while he goes to purchase a product in the market. The product recommended by the retailer is more likely to be purchased.

AUDITING THE RETAILER RECOMMENDATION

For Auditing the retailer recommendation, auditor visits the store like a normal customer. The auditor here has to observe products or services recommended by retailer and also see how the retailer approaches or sells those products. Here the producer is paying to the retailer for recommendation about their products so, in order to verify whether the retailers are recommending their products to the customer the auditing is done on retailer recommendation.
